All TRE Transmissions and Components require a usable core exchange.
All cores must be returned within 2 weeks of product delivery/recept.
Cores must be matched to the purchased product (If you purchase a 48RE valve body, you must return a factory 48RE valve body for core).
Any unmatched components (such as a 47RE drum in your 48RE case) will be subject to a deduction/upcharge based on the current market value of each component.
Certain aftermarket valvebodies such as ATS, PCS, SONNAX, and others cannot be utilized in our builds. Therefore, they will be considered as an unusable core.
Transmissions must be completely assembled with no missing components and must be a match to the purchased product (we will not accept a 47RE core for a purchased 48RE).
Cases must be free of any defects. Cracks, damaged holes, heavy corrosion, or other damage may deem your case as unusable.
All transmission cores also include a converter core.
Any cores being shipped to TRE are the customers responsibility. Any lost or damaged items and associated shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Any excessive buildup that requires deep cleaning such as heavy road grime, mud, etc, is subject to additional cleaning fees.
If any major core components are damaged, the customer will be notified during assembly.
The stock flexplate is not needed as a core.
